Following three timelines and three relationships – with the mother, the boyfriend, and the self – "Wherever You Go, You Take Yourself With You" is a recursive fragmented personal story that crosses time and time zones to uncover the roots, manifestation, effects, and finally freedom from materialism.
"Beyond Materialism" is the result of deep research into the human attachment to objects following the writing of "Wherever You Go, You Take Yourself With You." The uniquely structured essay explains how we are defined by our things "beyond materialism," layering in multi-genre excerpts of my prior writings to explicate the idea.
"Angelina & Andrei" is a short story about a New York City couple and the issues pressing their relationship. It's written in a unique point of view that switches between the first person perspectives of the two characters.

"Saccharine." is a collection of poems which centers around image and objectification; being used and letting ourselves be used; the power we have over ourselves and the lack of it. From “Play,” which describes a twisted objectification of the self in an attempt to comprehend my own identity; to “When You Enter a Room,” which involves feeling the irresistible pull and control of other people; to “Front Seat Drivers,” which explains how even total strangers can make us feel vulnerable and inhuman; and finally to “The Whispers,” a powerful complication of crude catcalls.
Some of these pieces were featured in Mosaic, Marist College's literary magazine, available for viewing here. "Saccharine." also received an honorable mention for the 2021 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
"The Story." is a multi-genre piece surroundng my personal emotional experience through love "and loss and everything in between." This piece experiments with structure and style, including anecdotes, quotes, and a variety of poetry forms to tell multiple stories simultaneously.
