The Duo Set is a ponte tube top and maxi skirt combo, where the top can be flipped to reverse the black and white sides for more wearing options. The skirt also features a dramatic center slit and A-line shape. Overall, the design is inspired by the stark duality of black and white; Yin and Yang. At the same time, the unique semi-fitted silhouette is flattering and very comfortable, as a result of the elastic sewn in to the top hems of both pieces.

The pattern for this design is completely self made, with measurements for the pieces noted next to the sketch. Since having finished the set, the measurements are updated to reflect a change in the hem length (from a midi skirt to a maxi skirt), a more cropped hem on the top, and alterations to make the pieces more fitted.

The illustration of the Duo Set depicts the alternate wearing option for the tube top. Here, the set is styled in the same way as in the shoot, with black platform boots.

Once each piece was measured and cut out, they were sewn together and the skirt topstitched along the center seams. Then, the pieces were fitted and altered, hemmed, and the elastic waistband was inserted.
